It is not easy to be creative because you need to settle your mind in many areas. The main one is to sit down and compose your thoughts and find yourself interesting.
There has been a journey that I have taken to espress the journey to health and my ideal image. Since this is about health it is an every day matter of how to get there. Bare the soul and you find the body is resistant just like the weight. Funny that the weight maintains the state it is in because your mental state remains unchanged. I just thought that was crazy. So we move on while we listen to world music hits in iTunes or how about hymns. The shift is subtle and switched from anxious care to being soothed.
As the weeks progress which they have a way of doing, we are faced with the current day. It is 2:16 AM and the house is quiet . There are days that spark a mutual accord with the Word, words and a work of consistency as a pill. The two persons who are coaching me in emails are touching a "can do". I can do this, be consistent with activity. The activity I started again can begin fresh and new again every morning like waking early in the morning and Morning Watch with my husband before breakfast. I started walking early in the morning. For protection I took my shiatsu stick that looks like a walking cane with a really long crooked neck.
We can move our body everyday, it is easy just move around walk instead of sit. While you walk you can talk to your self about yourself in your telephone I experimented with the iPhone on a 20 minute recorded walk of my phone hitting my leg in that rythm of a pace that was not very quick. I thought the headphones had the mic but it was in the phone inside my pocket so I laughed at myself as I listened to the playback of the steps one foot in front of another as I talk to myself in the headphones that do not record my ramblings but I remember it was praying for my family during part of the time and mentioning all the names of those whom the Lord has put in my life. We are not alone even though I feel lonely sometimes.
Reaching out to others has to be one of those really out of body shifts that bring us out of our poor me attitude. I am so grateful to my children who came to visit because they started the framework for a garden in the back yard. So far I have had a wonderful harvest of daily tomatoe volunteers that lend excellent broth and nutrients to our simple meals. I have harvested some dandelion greens and purslaine that will go into a salad today.
Now about that Type 2 Diabetes - here we go.
Chase the insulin, find the source of what will heal the beta cells that make insulin and make it better suited to taking care of the cause of diabetes. This is a very simplified version because there are so many sources of science that you can go to. Some of my favorite places to get that information has been other blogs and podcasts. Underground Wellness with Sean Croxton, Jimmy Moore with Livin La Vida Low Carb, and all the scientists, health practitioners and Medical Doctor guests that they have interviewed. I find listening to these talks and researching the parts that are important to me is more useful than speaking forth the science others have done so well in their publications.
For me the purpose is the journey out of the Diabetes world that seeks to rob me of health and ultimately the wealth of person we are destined to be.
What I mean to do is chase the insulin, the way it became dulled or insensitive to my body to be so inactive that it needs medication to bring blood sugar under control. Insulin is a hormone produced in the pancreas that affects the beginning of digestion of the food we eat. The regulation of insulin in digestion is to take glucose the breakdown of sugars and starches that we eat out of the circulating blood stream into the body cells that need it for running the action of cells all in harmony so that it is used in doing work or storing glucose into fat. The latter is the part we do not want to see in our clothes but more importantly its effect on our circulation, heart disease and all the causes of illness we seek to avoid. The facts I want to share are by making choices with the fingers at the end of my hands will be of foods that bring health deliciously.
